Immerse yourself in a botanical wonderland at the Castle of Soutomaior on the top of Mount Viso. Your guide will help you spot various species of flora including azaleas, ancient sequoias and cypresses. You'll also have the chance to explore the inside of the 12th–century castle.

Head to the 600–year–old Palace of Rubianes – one of only three lordships in Spain. Stroll through the prettiest parts of the tranquil gardens that cover 11 acres and spot some of the 800 camellia varieties.

There's nothing quite like tasting wine at the vineyard where it's made and you'll be invited to try the Pazo de Rubianes white Albariño. Savour it with tapas including Spanish omelette, empanada (Galician salty pie) and local cheeses. Bliss!

This tour is unavailable on Mondays from October to April. It involves a lot of walking over uneven ground, including some steps. The Pazo de Rubianes shop accepts Euros and major credit cards only. No interior visit is made of the manor house at The Pazo de Rubianes, only the gardens, vineyard and winery is visited.
